Urine Lab-Based Alcohol Test,
Ethyl Glucoronide Alcohol Test (Etg/Ets)
EtG and EtS are the best markers available currently to monitor for alcohol use. Both ethyl glucuronide (EtG) and ethyl sulfate (EtS) are metabolites of alcohol (ethanol) that are more slowly eliminated from the body than alcohol itself (or than other markers of recent alcohol use) and can thus be used to document abstinence and detect alcohol relapse sooner.
EtG (ethyl glucuronide) testing alone, offered by virtually every laboratory in the drug and alcohol testing industry, does not provide a dispositive confirmation of alcohol consumption within the detection window of 80 hours (average of 36-48). Coupling EtG with EtS (ethyl sulfate) does, since the EtG metabolite is often masked by bacterial infections, such as urinary tract infections.
The ability to detect both EtG and EtS using a highly sophisticated laboratory utilizing liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry (LC/MS), separates On-Site Drug & Alcohol Testing from other alcohol testing providers.
Alco strips
Alco-Screen Saliva Alcohol Device
The Alco-Screen is a rapid, highly sensitive method to detect the presence of alcohol in saliva and provide an approximation of relative blood alcohol concentration.
Alco-Screen is very simple, one-step, 2/4 minute test requiring no instrumentation, calibration or special training to be used effectively, and is convenient enough to be used at any time, any place. Alco-Screen is the simplest method of monitoring for alcohol consumption in your zero tolerance testing program DOT Approved: Both the Alco-Screen 02 Saliva Alcohol Test is so effective they have been tested and approved by the US Department of Transportation. One facet of implementing and maintaining a successful drug free workplace is the ability to recognize drug problems with employees by their behavior and work habits. These can include performance problems, poor attendance and absenteeism, attitude and physical appearance, health and safety hazards, and domestic problems.
Below is a list of warning signs of employee substance abuse:
Performance Problems
Poor Attendance and Absenteeism
Attitude and Physical Appearance
Health and Safety Hazards
Domestic Problems
Our drug free workplace implementation program will remove these concerns by preparing an employee drug testing program, implementing the program, providing your company with materials, specimen collection site, certified laboratory, and Medical Review Officer, and continue to monitor your staff with a random drug testing program.
